Baptisms

Font

The font is original in artistic form. It represents two sisters, children of the Sir Hugh Williams, who was the donor of the font; the elder, Mary Charlotte Lucy, is kneeling, holding a shell, the younger, Arabella Antonia, stands beside her. The font is made of Carrara marble and was executed by Peter Hollins.

How do we arrange a baptism?

Baptisms are always carried out at 12.30pm on a Sunday after our service.
As it is a very popular choice for your child's baptism we ask that you attend a very short meeting where we run through the service, what baptism means and then we take your preferred date.

Please note we do not take baptism bookings over the telephone.
