Baptisms
Children are always welcome at St. Margaret's and we are always really happy to baptise your child.
Baptisms can be held during our All Age service or after the service any week at 12.30pm on a Sunday.
As it is a very popular choice for your child's baptism we invite you to attend our All Age service on the third Sunday of each month at 11am. After the service we will chat with you and take your details and book a date in for you.
(Please note we do not take baptism bookings over the telephone.)
Font
The font is original in artistic form. It represents two sisters, children of the Sir Hugh Williams, who was the donor of the font; the elder, Mary Charlotte Lucy, is kneeling, holding a shell, the younger, Arabella Antonia, stands beside her. The font is made of Carrara marble and was executed by Peter Hollins.
